Cabernet Lamb Burgers

INGREDIENTS

  • 300g Lamb Mince
  • 200g Pork mince
  • 100g Breadcrumbs
  • 2 ½ tbspn Flat leaf parsley
  • ½ tspn Ground cumin
  • ½ Brown onion
  • 1 Egg
  • To taste Salt flakes
  • To taste Freshly ground black pepper

Mix lamb mince, pork mince, bread crumbs, Cabernet Paste, chopped parsley, cumin and diced onion together.

Beat the egg briefly and stir into mince mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and form into burgers. This will make 4 large burgers, approximately 2cm thick.

Heat barbecue to medium heat. Brush grill with oiled brush. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes on first side and then turn over and cook another 3 – 4 minutes.

Allow to rest a few minutes before assembling the burger.
