Maggie Beer Wines From The Barossa Valley

Maggie’s cellar door gift packs

While the Barossa is famous for its Shiraz, there is a diversity of grapes and winemaking traditions in the area. Maggie and Colin Beer’s property is home to some of the earliest Cabernet planted in the Barossa. With vines now in three sections of the Valley, Colin considers the plantings of Grenache, Mataro and Tempranillo give the best possible outcome for the Barossa climate and terroir.

You don’t need to travel to the Barossa to enjoy a bottle of wine from Maggie and Colin’s cellar. Order online to discover the latest crowd pleasing wines to pair with a crowd pleasing cheese platter for a complete Maggie Beer gourmet and wine gift. You’ll find individual bottles of wine as well as wine gift packs and hampers featuring Barossa whites, reds, and rosés.

There are a number of Maggie Beer wine stockists around Australia, however you can order the complete range of available Pheasant Farm Wines and Beer Brothers Wines online direct from the Maggie Beer shop.

Pheasant Farm Wines

Among the wines made from premium grapes from the homeblock under the Pheasant Farm wine label, the rosé is a favourite. The delicate pink rosé takes its colour from minimal time on the skins of Maggie and Colin’s Grenache and Mataro grapes. The sweet aroma is balanced by the crisp acidity on the palate with a fresh, clean finish.

The homeblock’s Tempranillo grape vines produce a small-batch wine that always sells out fast. With a savoury nose with lingering black berry and leathery tones, a rich palate of cacao and fresh coconut, and a subtle zest finish, it pairs perfectly with Maggie’s pate and cheese.

Keep an eye out for the famous Pheasant Farm Mataro Grenache Shiraz. This lively MGS is a beautifully flavoured, medium bodied wine with a delicate spice to finish. Enjoy with a homemade lamb burger or a perfectly aged goat cheese.

Frequently asked questions

Can you deliver to multiple addresses?

Yes, but you’ll need to place a separate order for each delivery address. If you have a lot of gifts to send, please contact us on 1300 459 450 (Australia) or 02 6422 4000 (Overseas) or info@maggiebeer.com.au so we can help.

How can I subscribe from the Food Club?

Easy! Simply log in using your current login details and follow the steps to cancel your membership.

How long are the best before dates on products delivered?

In general, the products you buy online will have a shelf life of least 3 months when stored properly.

Sometimes we reduce prices on products that have a shorter best-before date than usual. You’ll see these are marked with a calendar icon and a reminder: these need to be enjoyed sooner rather than later.

How long will it take my order to arrive?

We dispatch our orders with Australia Post with current metro delivery times at 3-6 business days. During COVID-19, delays are frequent, we please ask for your patience and understanding. We aim to dispatch orders within 2 business days of the time of purchase or the earliest possible convenience.

Deliveries sent through Australia Post will now default to ‘Signature on Delivery with Authority to Leave’ which means the receiver will still sign for a parcel whenever they are home. If the receiver is not home and Australia Post determines there is a safe place for the parcel to be left on the premises, they will leave it there. Australia Post will also take a photo of the parcel as proof that it was delivered safely and give the receiver access to this. If there’s no safe place, Australia Post will leave a notification to the receiver and take the parcel to a nearby Post office for the receiver to pick up and sign for.

Refunds or returns will not be given for late delivery outside our delivery guarantees or predicted delivery times with Australia Post.

For further information regarding delivery, please contact 1300 459 450 (Australia) or 02 6422 4000 (Overseas).

What happens when I cancel my membership?

If you decide to cancel your membership you will no longer receive the newsletter, any special offers, or exclusive food club recipes. And please note we can’t undo this! If you change your mind once you have cancelled your membership, you will have to join up all over again.

What measurements are used in recipes?

Where we can, we’ve done our best to give you both gram weight and cup measurements to make Maggie’s recipes easier to cook according to what makes sense in your kitchen.

What oven (fan-forced or non-fan-forced) do recipes use?

Unless specified otherwise, all of Maggie’s recipes are based on fan-forced oven temperatures. If using a conventional (that is non-fan-forced) oven you may need to increase the temperature by 10 or 20ºC (50 or 68ºF). Fan-assisted ovens differ from fan-forced ovens in that use of the fan is optional, making them more flexible.

When will my card be charged?

We authorize a payment on your credit card when you place your order, and then confirm payment when your order is packed ready to send to you. This may be the same day you place your order, or a few days afterwards, depending on our packing roster.

Where can you deliver?

A special note for Maggie fans outside of Australia – unfortunately due to varying customs laws we cannot offer Maggie’s products for international delivery. You can of course send a package to an Australian address if you are living outside of Australia and we will simply email the receipt to you once you have ordered.

Why do I have to confirm my membership?

When you join the food club, we send you an email containing a link, which you’ll need to click to confirm your membership.

This just makes sure that you have access to the email address you used to join.

If you’ve missed your confirmation email, or it didn’t arrive, just visit the log in page, and follow the links to re-send your confirmation.
